MAN'S LEG BROKEN
KNOCKED DOWN BY VAN A fracture of a leg was suffered by Mr, Alexander Riddel 1, aged 75, retired, of ? Herbert Road, Mount Eden, yesterday morning, when he was knocked down by a motor-van as lie was crossing Fanshawe Street, near the junction of Nelson Street. The injured man was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John Ambulance.
