"IN THE FASHION"
SOME OF THE CANGERS Remember that, although it is nice to be "in the fashion," the woman who is not so slim sometimes accentuates her worst points by follow ing the latest mode too closely, warm, a London writer. At the moment, we have the wide padded shoulders, and ur less a woman is very tall and slim she should never wear anything that can even hint at making her as broad as she is long! A modified form of this fashion is all right, and some models are quite easily adapted. So, if you would be up/to date and smart at the same time, choose carefully and use your own discretion when an ardent saleswoman says that "Modom looks quite charming in the new padded-shoulders." We are all apt to fall for. flattery of this kind soisetimes. ' Make full use of the mirror when trying on the coats and frocks of today/ and remember that the sideways "line" is just as important as the back and front.'
