THE PRICE OF BUTTER
Sir, —Much has been written about tho low prices we are getting for our butter in England. Someone must have struck the fault by now. Having two such brilliant men in England at the moment as Sir Thomas \\ ilford and Sir James Purr, I would supgeyt that tkoy be asked to point out wherein the fault lies. Whether (1) wo have lost our goodwill, or (2) our butter is not up to standard, or (3) whether the supply of bntter exceeds the demand. To my mind, either of these men would be more competent to judge than those we have sent and are sending. Huinni. C. G. Pabish.
