MAORI ENTERTAINMENT
CONCERT IN TOWN HALL A generous spirit was displayed bv the Maoris of Hawke's Bay, Wairoa and the West Coast, who will be travelling through Auckland to-day on their way to the Waitangi celebrations, in sending a telegram to the Mayor offering to present an entertainment in aid of the Mayor's Unemployment Fund. Ihe oiler was gratefully accepted bv the Mayor and the concert will be given in the Town Hall this evening. As the hall and the services of the staff at the doors are being provided free the entire proceeds will be available for distribution among the unemployed. The entertainment will provide a unique opportunity for Aucklanders to Eee the hakas and poi dances and to hear the Maori songs' which will be presented at the celebrations.
