CARS IN COLLISION
WOMAN'S HEAD INJURIES [by telegraph OWN correspondent] PALMERSTON NORTH, Wednesday , As the result of a collision between two motor-cars at the junction of the Rangitikei line and the KairangaBunnythorpe Road, Mrs. W. J. Young, of Newbury, sustained head injuries which necessitated tier admission to hospital. Mrs. Young was riding in a car driven bv Mr. C. Keen, of Palmerston North. The other vehicle involved was a small car driven by Mr. G. W Powdrell, of Hawera. Mrs. Young is progressing satisfactorily in hospital, an operation*iiaving been performed immediately after her admission.
