DARING OUTRAGE
BANDITS WRECK TRAIN SERIOUS CASUALTY LIST SHANGHAI, Nor. 27 A daring outrage was perpetrated last night by bandits 40 miles east of Tsitsihar. They unbolted the rails of the Trans-Siberian railway and an express train travelling at a speed of 50 miles an hour turned a somersault down an embankment. The bandits then opened fire on the passengers as they sought to escape from the wrecked train. Japanese guards happened to be travelling on tho train and returned the fire, whereupon the bandits fled. Several passengers were taken captive. The Japanese lost two killed and several wounded. It is belie\ ed that many persons were killed and injured in the wreck.
CHINESE REBELS WARNING FROM THE AIR ACTIVITIES IN FUKIEN SHANGHAI, Nov. 27 It is reported that Nanking aeroplanes flew over important points where rebel troops had concentrated in Fukien and dropped leaflets announcing their intention to bombard Foochow unless the troops rejoined the Government forces. The navy also is preparing to blockado Foochow and Amoy, Chinese-owned steamers are being commandeered for the purpose of the speedy transportation of Government troops to points on the southern coast of Chekiang.
