SILENCE
Sir, —In Revelations viiiv, 1, it is written . . there was silence in Heaven about the space of half an hour." The observance of two minutes' silence on Armistice Day was a littlo bit of heaven on earth. Jn the midst of the pandemonium of daily trafiic and tongues in these days of unrest we might do worse than increase' tho two minutes to ten minutes at tho eleventh hour of each day and consider seriously what would be the first, stops to take for making secure pence and goodwill on earth as it is in heaven.
