NEW SOUTH WALES FINAL CRAWFORD DEFEATS HOPMAN (Received November 12, 5.5 p.m.) SVDNKY, Nov. 12 In the final of the tennis of the New South Wales singles championship Crawford defeated Hopman, 6 —4, B—6,8 —6, Crawford gave a dazzling display of perfect forehand drives, but Hopman contested every point. In the final of tlics women's singles championship Miss .J. Hartigan defeated Miss L. Bickcrton, 6 —4, 6—2.
