FRANCE AND RUSSIA
# M. PIERRE COT'S FLIGHT NO POLITICAL SIGNIFICANCE .!■ (Received September 14, 12.45 a.m.) n PARIS, Sept. 13 The object of the flight to Russia of M. Pierre Cot, French Air Minister, is officially described as being to inaugurate reciprocal studies in aviation between France and Russia. No political object attaches to the flight, but it is solely to enable the members of the French and Russian aviation services to know each other. French air liners hitherto have stopped at the Russian or Rumanian frontier. That state of things could not last without prejudicing France and Russia, which have every interest, commercially and industrially, to strengthen their relations. ,
