PARTIES IN AUSTRIA SUPPORT FOR CHANCELLOR QUARRELLING TO CEASE GERMAN ATTITUDE UNCHANGED E'y Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received September 13, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 12 The Vienna correspondent of the News Chronicle says that the decision of the Chancellor, Dr. Dollfuss, to give authoritative leadership to a Christian corporate State has won immediate response. It is felt that he has stolen the Nazis' thunder.
Three parties are supporting Dr. Dollfuss and have decided to cease their quarrels and present a united anti-Nazi front. The Berlin correspondent of the Times says that in the meantime there is no likelihood of a relaxation of the German campaign against the present Austrian Government; WAR ON BOLSHEVIKS PRINCE'S URGENT APPEAL ARMY READY TO HELP ) VIENNA, Sept. 12 Almost 250 years ago, Prince von Starhemberg inspired the Viennese to defend their city against the Turks. To-day the present Prince von Starhemberg, the young leader ol .the Heimwehr, standing beneath the Btatue of his ancestor, and addressing 100,000 soldiers, appealed to the Chancollor, Dr. Dollfuss. to join the Heimwehr and throw out of office Vienna's Socialist Municipal Council. After thanking the assembly for honouring his ancestor, the Prince turned to Dr. Dollfuss and said: " Wo are fighting together for the new Austria, but as long as Bolsheviks rule in the Town Hall, Austria will never bo free. Join with us in turning out the Bolsheviks. My Heimwehr will help you to rid Vienna'of the Reds."
