VISIT TO LAPLAND
ENGLISH SCHOOL BOYS EXTREME COLD ENDURED (Received September 13, 6.5 p.m.) British "Wireless RUGBY, Sept. 12 After one month's expedition to Lapland, including a 12 days' compass journey northward through forests, a party of 35 English public school hoys under Surgeon-Commander Levick returned to Helsingfors to-day. The boys marched 140 miles with rucksacks, which at the start weighed 461b. The boys carried light sleepingbags and slept in tents. They felt the cold, as,the temperature frequently was below zero.
