AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION MATCH AGAINST MANAWATU The executive committee of the Auckland Hockey Association received advice at its fortnightly meeting that the Manawatu team which is to play Auckland at Remuera on Saturday will arrive to-morrow morning and will stay at the Hotel Auckland. It was decided to fix the gate charges the same as previously for the New Zealand Challenge Shield and to tender the teams a complimentary dinner in the evening. Permission was granted the Papatoetoe Club to travel to Whangarei on Saturday week to play the Northern representatives. The Poverty Bay and Taianaki Associations wrote thanking the association for the hospitality extended to their representatives when in Auckland. , . Permission was granted the Sotnerville Club to play the Glenora Club at Glen Eden next Saturday. ■ It was decided to make the usual grant of-JES 5s to the St.. John Ambulance Assoelation. " ■ ' * .
