FRIENDLY SOCIETIES' GAMES The Auckland Friendly Societien' Indoor Bowling Association's annual foure tourney for ladies' teams with men skips will be played in the Druids' Hall, Newton, on Saturday afternoon. Following are the entries:— . A Section. —Kawhiti Social Club, Davies and Flinn (skips); Orange Bowling Association, Francis and Cox; Hope of Auckdand, 1.0.R.. Jenkin; Court Edith Cavell,' A.O.F. B Section. —Rawhiti Social Club, Sullivan; Hope of Auckland. 1.0.R.. Day; Rechabites' Association, Campling; Orange Association, Ward, Harris, Llewellyn.
ORANGE ASSOCIATION The Orange Bowling Association held the fifth of a series of cup tourneys during the week. ' Following were the results:—Day, Simpson, 3 wins: Harris. 2 wins; Jenkin, Baker, 11 wins; Ward, Boles, Gelding, ManBell, Douglas, no wins. In the final Day beat Simpson by 5 points to 4. A ladies' singles challenge match between Mrs. Stein and Mrs. Mickelborough resulted in a win for the former by 10 poiuts to 3.
