AUCKLAND'S CELEBRATION COMMENCEMENT TO-DAY MATCH NEXT SATURDAY The Auckland Rugby Union will celebrate its jubileo this week, and the first function will bo a complimentary luncheon tendered b,v Messrs. Milne and C'hoyco to all Auckland players who have gained their All Black caps. The captains and coaches of the secondary and primary schools' fifteons havo also been invited in order that the younger generation may have the ppportunity of talking over the game with their experienced ciders. Members of the management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union and representatives of the Referees' Association will also bo present.

The jubileo ball, which will be held at Dixieland this evening, promises to bo a great success. There will be a large representation from all the clubs affiliated to tho Auckland Rugby Union. Club badges are to be worn. The jubileo dinner will bo held at the Hotel Auckland to-morrow night at seven o'clock, when over 400 guests arc expected, including representatives of other unions throughout New Zealand. Tho speakers will include some of Auckland's leading citizens, as well as members of the New Zealand Rugby Union.

The Wellington representative team which is to play Auckland at Eden Park on Saturday afternoon will arrive by the limited to-morrow morning and will stay at Hotel Cargen. There will bo 18 piayers in the party, under the managership of Mr. A. J. Griffiths. Great interest is being taken in the match and special trains will be run from Wellington, Maungaturoto, Putaruru, Paeroa, Cambridge and Helensville. The first special from Wellington is duo to arrive at 10.12 a.m. on Saturday. Given a fine day, there is every likelihood of a record attendance for an interprovincial match in Auckland. The two teams and old representative players will be tendered a korero in the pavilion at Eden Park after the match. There will be a commemorative service at St. Patrick's Cathedral at 9 a.m. on Sunday and the celebrations will be brought to a conclusion with a commemoration service in the Town Hall at 2.30 p.m. THE WELLINGTON TEAM PAGE NOT AVAILABLE [BY TELECRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON.
