MURIWAI DISTRICT FUND
[from our own correspondent] WAIMAUKU, Wednesday A meeting of residents of the Muriwai Beach district was held in the Muriwai School to decide on the disposal of £lB, which had been collected by the residents with a view to forming a tennis club. It is now proposed that £6 be donated to the fund for the Muriwai School dental clinic, and that the remaining £l2 bp used in promoting a sports club to organise an annual sports day and settlers' picnic on the Muriwai Beach. Another meeting is to be held in two weeks to confirm these proposals.
