RETURN ON INVESTMENTS

Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges. In the second column is given the return, based on , tho last annual dividend, from investment at the quoted price.\ In calculating tho return on. shares in companies which pay their dividends outside Now Zealand tho exchange rates have not been taken into consideration. The return on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption. In tho case of 3J per cent loans, tho return is for interest alone and covers only.tho period which the loans are tax-free. No return is given on local bodys securities and debentures in the meantime.
