POWER EXTENSIONS
SUPPLY FOR GLEN AFTON CENTRAL BOARD'S AREA [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday Among the extensions completed by the Central Power Board during last month was an 11,000-volt loop line between Ohinewai and Pukewhau Junction. A two-mile extension along the Te Hoe-Ohinewai Road was erected at a cost of £751. Six new consumers will be served by the line. The majority of the residents of' Glen Alton have applied for electric light, and 27 have signed. The reticulation of the township is being proceeded witlfc at a cost of £362.
A large number of applications from new consumers for financial assistance for the installation of milking motors and heaters was approved by the board at its meeting to-day.
