INTERNATIONAL SCREENING ENGLISH ACTORS ENGAGED France is planning to enter the contest for international film fame. The first big bilingual production in this film " drive " is to be a film version of the fanious drama La Bataille." It is a spectacular story, with international espionage as a theme. The French Navy is lending its co-operation- " France is copyipg other nations in importing foreign artists to play important ..parts in her productions. John Loder, the British actor who has played in many Hollywood pictures, is to be given a leading part as a British naval attache. Betty Stockfeld,' : whose work is also well known in this country," has been signed tip, and Annabella, the French star vrho scored a big success in " Sous Les Toits de Paris," will play the part of a Japanese girl.
