YACHTING CONTROVERSY
SANDERS CUP CONTESTS SUPPORT FOR THE COUNCIL [by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday A decision to support the New Zealand Yachting Council and not to send boats to future contests conducted by tho Auckland Yacht and Motor-Boat Association until the association throws in its lot with the council was tho effect of a motion which was carried unanimously at a meeting of the Christchurch Sailing and Power-Boat Club to-night. It was stated by the president of the yachting council that a Sanders Cup contest would definitely bo held at Lyttelton next year.
