BALL AT WHANGAREI
FUNDS FOR UNEMPLOYED [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] "WHANGAREI, Thursday One of the most successful social functions held north of Auckland was the Whangarei movie poster ball, held in the Town Hall last evening in aid of funds for the unemployed. The function was a great success and the attendance was over 1000. With practically everything in connection with the ball donated, the total door takings, about £l6O, will be handed over to the local unemployment fund.
