The doctor's report stated that there was a cut 4in. long in the woman's neck and she had numerous bruises about the face and chest, and also that there was the probability that she had received a fracture of a rib. Fortunately, tho matter did not turn out to be as serious as anticipated, and the woman was discharged next morning. Tho fact remained, however, that the accused used a razor on his wife.
