I CHARLES—MACANDREW [from oun own correspondent] LONDON, July 21 The wedding took place on July 15, in the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Little Horkesley, near Colchester, Essex, of Mr. Guy Pendrill Charles, R.A.F., elder son of Dr. C. P. Charles and Mrs. Charles, of Minterne Lodge, Parkstone, Dorset, and Miss Alexis Macandrew, younger daughter of the late Mr. Isaac F. Macandrew and of Mrs. K. A. M. Macandrew, of Ohiti, Canford Cliffs, and formerly of Hawke's Bay. The bride's family has close associations with the Essex village where the wedding took place. Her grandfather, the late Mr. William Macandrew was a magistrate for the county, and her father lived for years in the district and played cricket for Colchester and for the Gentlemen of Essex. Her uncle, Mr A. Macandrew, .lives at Great Horkesley, and the bridd herself was baptised in the church in which she was married.
