AREA NEAR COROMANDEL APPLICATIONS FOR SECTIONS [by telegraph—own correspondent] THAMES, Tuesday Advice has been received that 550 acres, part of Mr. E. Deeble's Waiaro Estate, on the main Colville-Port Jackson Road, five miles from Colville, has been submitted to the Unemployment Board for cutting up into 20 to 50-acre farms. Tlio area has been offered to the board as the result of representations 'made by the settlors of the district, and it is understood that a Government inspection will bo made this week. The place is eminently suitablo for closer settlement and for dairying, being practically all level country, well watered and first-class land. Already applications have been made by six Coromandel men. for sections.
