MOTOR COLLISION
PASSENGER INJURED [from our own correspondent] MOIIRINSVILLE. Friday Two motor-cars, one driven by Father O'Doherty, of Morrinsvillo, and tho other by Mr. 0. Pollers, of Putaruru, collided on tho Tirau-Matamata Road yesterday. Mr. Peffers was driving alone, but Father O'Doherty had four passengers in his car, and one of them, Mrs. A. M. Howe, was seriously injured 011 the head. Tho injury necessitated six stitches. Tho party in Father O'Doherty's car was returning to Morrinsvillo from Rotor ua, where members had attended a church function Mrs. Rowe, who "is housekeeper at the Morrinsvillo Catholic Presbytery, was taken to a Matauiata hospital. Both cars, which were damaged extensively, wero removed to Tirau.
