WHEAT, FLOUR AND PULSE Wheat. —Cargoes are offered at 3d to Is lower, hut buyers are reticent. Parcels are in poor demand. Manitobas are from Is to Is 6d River Plates 6d and Australians 3d. RABBITSKIN PRICES LAST DUNEDIN SALE The Dunedin Stock Agents and Woolbrokeis' Association reports on Tuesday's rabbitskin sale as follows:—Very large catalogues were offered. The slackening in the American demand nt last sale was more pronounced and winter bucks were lower by 9d per lb. for best grades, and fid lower on an average for all grades. The demand for does was weak early in the sale, but firmed later, and prices compared with last sale can be quoted firm to 3d lower. Autumns and incoming grades were 6d to ad down, and low grades, such as summer, were firm. STOCK SALES TE AWAMUTU QUOTATIONS The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports that at the Te Awamutu sale on Thursday only a email yarding of sheep came forward, prices being firm at late quotations. A good yarding of fat and store cattle met with good competition. and prices were in advance of those of lost salq. Another full yarding of dairy cattle came' forward, including a couple of herds, and several lines of heifers on account of well-known local farmers. Values for all dairy stock were easier than at the previous sale, but this easing tendency lhas been general at all other sales in the Waikato. However, prices on the whole were satisfactory, and practically a complete clearance was effected. There was a very heavy yarding of store and weaner pigs, competition being good throughout and late advanced rates were well maintained. Beef and store cattle were penned in average numbers, these showing no alteration on late rates. A heavy yarding of dairy cattle came forward, including some very choice Jfiisey springing heifers, and these sold under good competition. Backward heifers also commanded good attention. Dairy cows were dull of sale. A full yarding of pigs sold under keen competition. Values were:—Pigs: Store pigs, 20s to 21s; slips. 163 to 18s Gd; good weaners, 15s Gd to 18s; smaller, 10s to 13s. There was a large attendance of buyers, and all lota submitted realised keen competition, although, toward the finish, backward heifers did not meet with the competition anticipated.
