NEW THEATRE
AMALGAMATED COMPANY Arrangements for the erection of a new theatre in Jervois Road, near Hamilton Road, Heme Bay, are being made by Amalgamated Theatres, Limited, and Mr. Wenzl Scholium, according to an announcement made yesterday by Mr. M. J. Moodabe, governing director of Amalgamated Theatres. Plans have been prepared by Mr. Surrey S. Allcman, and the theatre, which will bo constructed on the latest linos, will have seating accommodation for nearly 900. Special attention will be paid to the acoustic properties of the building. It is expected the theatre will bo complotod in a few months. It. will be another link in the company's already long chain of theatres.
