Hendley has now compiled 2000 runs this season. ENGLISH CRICKETERS TEAM TO TOUR INDIA LONDON. Aug. 2 The Star says the Accrington Cricket Club has made a tempting offer to Hammond to become its professional in 1934. Hammond denies the story however. Wyatt has been ordered to rest and will not be able to go to India. Mitchell (Yorkshire) will replace him. Ames also has been invited to join the touring team.
