THE TANKER BRUNSWICK The Atlantic Oil Company's tanker Brunswick is due from Wellington at three o'clock this afternoon. THE RANGITIKI After loading a large quantity of produce at Central Wharf the New Zealand, Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitiki is to sail for London, via Panama, at seven o'clock this morning. TIROA DELAYED The Tiroa, which is towing the small steam tug Hipi from Gisborne to Auckland, has been delayed by bad weather. After sheltering at Hick's Bay the vessels resumed their trip at six o'clock yesterday morning. They are expected this morning. NIAGARA AT SUVA The Royal Mail liner Niagara reached Suva from Vancouver at 4.30 o clock yesterday afternoon, and she is to resume her voyage to Auckland, at 9.30 o clock this morning. The vessel is due on Monday, ana she is scheduled to sail for Sydney at three o'clock on Tuesday afternoon. THE GOLDEN EAGLE < Henderson and Macfarlane, Limited, have received advice that the American steamer Golden Eagle was despatched from Los Angeles at nine o'clock on Tuesday evening with cargo from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland and Wellington and in Australia. She is due at Auckland on August 27. MATAKANA LOADING The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Matakana arrived at New Plymouth from Cairns on Wednesday night to commence loading in New Zealand. Her other loadmir ports are Wanganui and Wellington. She is scheduled to clear Wellington for London, via Cape Horn, on August 12. RANGITANE BERTHED The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitane, which amvedfrom London on Wednesday night, berthed at Queen's Wharf yesterday morning to land passengers, mail and cargo. She is expected to sail for Wellington on Saturday to complete discharge. The vessel experienced generally fuir weather on the voyage until she was nearing Pitcairn Island on July 23, when a fresh south-west gale and rough head seas were encountered and continued for 24 hours. Afterwardfe the weather continued boisterous, the wind at periods reaching gale force, the conditions being very stormy during the last 24 hours of the voyage. Two days before the vessel reached Panama an assistant steward died from natural causes, and was buried at sea the same day.
