PAKURANGA HUNT
MEET AT EAST TAMAKI About 3Q riders took part in a meet of the Pakuranga Hunt at East Tamaki yesterday. Conditions were good and an excellent day's sport was obtained. The hunt met at tho creamery, and after working through Mr. W. Guy's property a hare was put up on Mr. F. Findlay's farm. It crossed into Mr. Robert Hatta way's property and then followed the road for aomo distance until, after crossing the properties of Messrs. L. Speechlcy, E. Woods and A. Trust, it returned to Mr. Findlay's land. The hunt crossed the Howick Road to Mr. Cox's property where the hare ran across a paddock in which ensilage had been fed and tho hounds lost lhe scent. Another hare was put-up Which, after passing down Botany Road, crossed the properties of Messrs. Hoy Hattaway and A. Phillips. The hare then passed through Mr. R. Spiers' farm nnd ran into the Whitford Gorge, but the hounds worked it out and brought it back over similar country,, until it was killed at Cox's Corner. Among those present were:—The master. Mr. H. Self, on Thelma; Mr. S. Jolly, on Penn; Mr. A. Walker, on Canton; Mr. M. Ellis, on Cliunu Mr. A. Thompson, on a boy. Mr D TJnines. on a bay; Lady Grnson. on a black; Mrs. A. G. Quartlev. on Gay Laddie; Mrs/ P. H. Smith, on Wanianui; Miss M. Gunson, on Breeze; Miss .T. Cox. on Flash- Miss S. Butler, on Dick T»rpin:, Miss E. Mnv+in, on Vixen; Miss W. Woods, on Molly; Miss P.
