SPECIAL CLUB COMPETITION NEW STAND ACCOMMODATION ROOPE ROOSTER SEMI-FINAL -A • full attendance of club delegates- discussed at last evening's meeting of the Auckland Rugby League a ■ proposal to play a special round of a club competition for teams eliminated from the Roopo Rooster. Culpan, advised that work in connection with the overhead bridge, which would take spectators from Carlaw Park, to Stanley Street, was nearing completion. The chairman briefly discussed a proposed plan to provide extended stand accommodation at "Carlaw Park' text season. He eaid it was intended during the summer months to finalise plans and, finance could be secured, a new stand and players' dressing rooms would be built.
