ROAD RACES IN AUCKLAND MANUKAU CLUB'S EVENTS Fine weather but an adverse arid strongeasterly wind prevailed on - Saturday, whea the Mamikau Amateur Cycling Club conducted its road events at Avondale South. The 10-miles junior race over four- laps attracted an entry of 10 riders. E. R. Han&siu the lone scratch rider, gave tlie lirr.it riders, E. E. F. Tucker and R. C. Chappell, a start of 4m. Tucker rode a good race, »c----companying Chappell over the first tworounds. When Chappell punctured TncUer maintained the lead alone and ran out ail easy winner by 41s from C. T.
