Hazlott, said ho would like to see the Gov* ernuvent prevailed upon to licence bookmakers again in New Zealand. Clubs would do far better than with tku totnlisator alone. "This is not a new fad of mine," he said., "but my experience in Aus-' tralia has further convinced ijie thalf I am right. Tho totalisator works if with the bookmakers* and vice versa*"
