PLUNKET SOCIETY The ninth annual meeting of the Whangarei branch of the Plunkct Society was held this week. In tho unavoidable absence of the Mayor, the deputy-mayor, Mr. E. G. W. Tibbits, presided. The annual report and balance-sheet disclosed a successful year's operations. Tho following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Mr. A. J.
