DANCE FOR CHARITY
AUTOMATIC EXCHANGE The funds of tho Society for the Protection of Women and Children will benefit considerably by the proceeds of a dance organised by the staff of tho Automatic Telephone Exchange, which was held at the Symondsville Studio last evening. Tho members of the ladies' committee of the society present included:—Mrs. A. E. Devore (president), who wore a frock of black crushed velvet and georgette; Mrs. M. W. Patterson, black cire lace; Mrs. B. Bates, nigger-brown marocain, and Miss B. Spencer, grey floral taffeta with ostrich feather trimming. Among those present were: —Mrs. C. Morris, who wore pink lace over green satin; Mrs. W. Holscroft, black ring velvet; Mrs. Russell-Jones, scarlet hailstone muslin; Mrs. W. Pascoe, limegreen flat crepe; Mrs. Mills, beige satin; Mrs. Inwood, cameo pink crepe de chine; Miss I. Cottam, apple-green taffeta; Miss H. Sutherland, floral georgette; Miss Ruby Smith, phlox-pink georgette; Miss E. Scott, lettuce-green satin; Miss Bona Greenwood, shell-pink taffeta; Miss Ailsa Fearon, water-green coin-spotted net; Miss Pauline Anderson, apricot crinkled crepe; Miss Molly Lane, green crinkled crepe; Miss R. Sherriff, flesh-pink georgette with black relief; Miss Godfrey, sea-green taffeta; Miss M. Cotes, delft-blue iace; Miss A. Baxter, white satin beaute; Miss Nina Ellis, lapis blue satin; Miss Edna Gregory, white organdie; Miss Joan Andrews, white souplo satin; Miss R. Tve, gold tissue; IVliss N. Ellis, ciel blue satin; Miss Rca, black taffeta; Miss Orchard, black georgette; Miss Swan, white lace and tuTle; Miss M. Jones, black chiffon velvet; Miss K. Neil, blue and white crepe do chine; Miss P. Nealis, black lace and georgette; Miss Tombs, black crushed velvet; Miss Dorothy Hancock, pink frilled organdie; Miss Leader, black tulle and lace; Miss A. Brown, pastel pink chiffon; Miss G. Britian, flame flat crepe; Miss E. Sutherland, duchess blue satin beaute.
