WATERSIDE WORKERS
POLL IN AUCKLAND A two-days' poll for the election of the executive and officers of tho Auckland Waterside Workers' Union closed yesterday afternoon. Votes also wero taken on the question of a fairer distribution of the work available on tho waterfront and on the proposal to form a national union of waterside workers throughout tho Dominion. The union positions to bo filled by tho election aro those of president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary and walking delegate, with an executive of 12.
