ART UNION PROCEEDS
EX-SOLDIERS TO BENEFIT SUM OF £2OOO FOR AUCKLAND [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] "WELLINGTON, Tuesday The Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. J. A. Young, announced this evening that the proceeds of "My Lucky' Chance" art union will be distributed as follows: —£10,000 for the relief of distress throughout the Dominion; £2OOO to the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association for the benefit of the Auckland Association. The distribution of £IO,OOO for the relief of distress will be on a similar basis to that adopted on the occasion of the two previous art unions, that is, to districts showing 30 or more unemployment registrations.
