CHATHAM CUP CONTEST FURTHER ELIMINATION ROUND The provincial finul of the Chatham Cup competition betwoen Ponsonby and Hamilton Wanderers will be the principal contest to bo decided under the control of the Auckland Football Association on Saturday. SENIOR DIVISION COMMITTEE The previous decision to piny the first round of the Falcon Cup competition in conjunction with the second round of the championship wis ndhered to by the senior division committee of the Auckland Football Association at its meeting last evening. In case any of the games should end in a, draw at the end of 90 minutes' play, it was decided that the teams concerned should receive.one point each in the championship and piny two extra spells 15 minutes each to <lccide the Falcon Cup contest. South Auckland; Chnthnm Cup, August 5. Wellington v. Manawutu, at Palmerston North. In the event of the Wellington team defeating Mannwatu, Wellington and Auckland, the finalists, will meet at Auckland or Hamilton on August, 12.
