ST. ANDREW'S AUXILIARY
Tho loungo of tho Penwomen's League rooms looked very attractive with its bowls of golden acacia and narcissi when tho St. Andrew's Ladies' Auxiliary hold its monthly At Home yesterday afternoon. Mrs; W. Black, tho convenor of tho meeting, introduced tho Rev. Angus Mac Donald, who gavo an address on ranch lifo in Canada. A few vocal items were also given. At tho conclusion of his address Mr. Mac Donald told some stories of prairie lifo among the cowboys and Indians, tho latter being very friendly, hunting and fishing with the whito people. Contributing to the musical programme were:—Mrs. J. H. Will, who gave a monologue entitled "Laird o' Cockpen," Mrs. Sykes and Miss Gladys Barton, who sang Scottish songs. The accompanist was Miss Lilian Braithwafte.
