YOUNG MAN INJURED
Injuries to the shoulders were received by Mr. Lan Met liven, aged about 27, of Cambridge, in an accident at Beachlands, between Whit ford and Maraetai, yesterday afternoon. Mr. Methven was engaged in constructing a house, when a portion of the framework collapsed and ho was pinned underneath. He was brought to the city by a St. John ambulance, but it was not necessary to admit him .to the Auckland Hospital*.
