INSTRUMENTAL TRIO

Jascha and Tossy Spivakovsky and Edmund Kurtz, tho eagerly-awaited trio of instrumentalists who have been delighting audiences in the southern towns of New Zealand after a successful tour of Europe, will give tho first of three concerts in His Majesty's Theatre this evening. Other rocittils will bo given on Wednesday and Saturday of this week. Jascha Spivakovsky was described by the late Dame Nellie Melba as one of the greatest pianists in the world. His associates rank equally high. Tossy Spivakovsky, whoso violin playing ha'% been enthusiastically commented on by critics throughout New Zealand, was formerly leader of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, while Edmund Kurtz was hailed by a European critic as "one of tho few cellists who really make music."
