ESCAPE FROM LOCK-UP
MAN ASSISTS COMPANION BOTH GIVEN PROBATION [by telegraph—press association] DUN-EDIN, Friday In the Supreme Court to-day Charles George Albany Wybor, aged 17, for escaping from custody at Balclutha, and William John Jardine, aged 20, for aiding Wyber to escape, were admitted to three years' probation. Wyber was arrested on a charge of using obscone language, and, while a constable was absent, Jardine unbolted the lock-up door, enabling him to escape.
