THE WAIKATO LEAGUE [VUOM OUR OTX CORRESPONDENT*! HAMILTON, Friday The report of the Waikato Social Welfare League to bo presented at the annual meeting in Hamilton next Thursday states that the league's activities during the year ended May 31 wero not up to the lovel of the previous year. Receipts, showed a reduction of £lB2 and the quantity of goods donated was also less. Donations received amounted to £459, and other receipts totalled £lB6. The chief items of expenditure were: Meals, £148; meat, £I3S; seeds and manures, £120: and boob repairing materials, £B3. The cost of administration was £129. The year closed with a small debit balance.
