ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

NEW TE KUITI BRANCH [by temsgkavh—own correspondent] TE KUITI, Friday A branch of the St. John Ambulance Association was formed in To Kuiti at a public meeting held for that purpose last evening. The Mayor, Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P., presided, and the speakers were Mr. C. J. Tanks, commissioner for the Auckland district, anil Mr. S. K. Langstone, the manager. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P.; president, Dr. L. H. de Castro; vice-, presidents, Mrs. H. 'I 1 . Morton, Mr. 0. H. TCidson, Dr. ('. Isaac; general committee, Mesdames N. Wilson. S. Williams, Messrs. A. V. Windsor and Law; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. H. Dobson; honorarj' lecturer, Dr. de Castro.
