CAPSIZE OF PUNT
SEARCH FOR MAN'S BODY No trace has been found of the body of Mr. Edward Hawkins, aged about 20, of Hincmoa Street, Birkenhead, who is believed to have been drowned when a punt capsized in the harbour between Northcote and Bayswater on May 29. Police parties continued the search yesterday. Two constables were at Pine Island searching the mud-flats, while another two examined the foreshore of Ilangitoto fronting the channel, but neither party was successful. The search will be continued daily.
