AMENDED RULES MOTION MATTER ALREADY DEALT WITH ATTRACTIONS FOR SATURDAY A reply to the recent motion forwarded to tho New Zealand Union seeking sanction for tho reintroduction of tho amended rules in Auckland was received by tho management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union at it 3 meeting last evening. Tho Dominion body advised that the subject matter of tho motion had been dealt with at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Union, when a decision was arrived at, and that decision ended the matter so far as tho management committee of the Now Zealand Union was concerned. Tho letter was received. As a result of a request from tho Manukau Club, tho committea decided to fix a senior grado match between Manukau and Technical Old Boyß at the Onehunga ground on Saturday week, this being the occasion of tho former club's charge day. Tho reinstatements of G. A. Miller and D. R. Ferguson were advised' by the New Zealand Union. The reinstatements of H. McGuire, T. F. Fergusson and L. It Kirk were approved for submission to tho New Zealand Union. The transfer of J. A. Parsons from tho University Club to Technical Old Boya was approved. The Hamilton Rugby Union wrote declining to accede to Waipa's request to play the HamiltonWaipa Fitilay Cup match at Te Awamutu. Tho secretary was instructed to refer tho matter to the parent body. Arrangements were made ill connection with the Waipa-Rangitaiki representative game at Albert Park on Saturday. Mr. Annibal was appointed referee and Mr. Haselden manager of the Wajpa team. The Olorohanga Union invited the Waipa junior representatives to visit Otorohanga on Saturday.
