NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
GOOD STANDARD DISPLAYED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] 1 PALMERSTON NORTH. "Wednesday The 31st National Dairy Show, under the auspices of the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and l'astoral Association, was opened to-day in dull and threatening weather. There was a good attendance of the public. The exhibits in the competitive classes wero well up to the previous standard. Jjarge entries of dairy product? were included, butter entries numbering 226, and cheese 2.'?!). Numerous breeding societies are holding their annual meetings in conjunction with the show, which extends until Saturday. To-day judging is proceeding in all classes. In addition, there is the Manawatu Poultry Association's Show, at which seven North Island championships are being awarded.
