NORTH ISLAND CONTESTS '[by telegraph—own correspondent! TAIHAPE, Saturday The North Island Sheep Dog Trial Association's championship trials were continued at Moawhango. Results were:— Class 11. Championship, short head and yard.—W. Whyte's (Napier) Boy, SGJ points, 1; M. Wilton's (Masterton) Lad, 55 points, 2; J. S. Tail's (Dannevirke) Daylight, 541 points, 3; 11. Harris' (Uoeke) Kep, 53 points, 4; E. Siddle's (Mataroa) Boy, 53i points, 5. W. 11. Gaisford Challenge Cup. for tho dog scoring most points in classes I. and lI.—W. Whyte (Napier). Jas. Lillico Shield, for dog showing best style at ring and yard, classes I. and 11. E. Siddle (Mataroa).
