An address on "The Origin of the Maori" was £iven by Mr. George Graham at a meeting of the Leys Institute Literary and Debating Union. Mr. Graham dealt with the ethnological evidence as to the origin of the lace, and traced the various migrations, which led first to the traditional Hawaiki, and then to New Zealand,
