EXPERIENCE AT OAMARU FIRST FOR LONG PERIOD [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION"! OAMARU, Tuesday After a freedom from earthquakes for many years Oamaru has experienced four in the last ten days, two on May 20, one on May 21 and another at 5.40 this morning. Apart from a very slight tremor at the time of the Murchison earthquake Oamaru had not had an earthquake for; a lengthy period. ' A strange feature is that Timaru and Dunedin did not report shakes lasfe week.
