YESTERDAY'S SALES return on investments Following is a i ist of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges. In tho second column is given the return, based on tho last annual mdond, from investment at tho quoted price. In calculating tho return on shares in companies which pay their dividends outside New Zealand the exchange rates have not been taken into consideration. The return on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption. In the case of 3J per cent loans the return is for interest alone, and covers only the period for which the loans are tax-free. No return is given on local body securities and debentures in the meantime.
